Reviews and Ratings
I stayed in one of the old miners' cottages which we loved, with a modern inside that the original residents wouldn't recognize. The rooms were nice, clean, and a great size, a definite cozy feel. The location, although a bit remote, offered tranquility with no traffic noise, giving a relaxing stay. The dining experience was good, and the staff provided top-notch service. Overall, a charming stay with a few drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were really well appointed, clean, and incredibly comfortable, especially the suite I stayed in. The location was great, tucked away from loud traffic, and I could easily visit Bolsover Castle. The dining experience was a mixed bag, with some fantastic meals but also disrupted by contractors in their work attire. Overall, a lovely stay with a few hiccups.
The hotel was compacted but made good use of space, adequate for a one-night stay. The rooms were well-appointed with everything we needed, although they weren't that clean. The location was quite far from anything else, so we mainly used the hotel's facilities. The dining experience was chaotic with dirty tables and having to ask for things to be topped up, not up to the standard for the price charged. However, the black sheep ale on tap was a nice touch.
